I just got my Clifford 50.5 Installed in my 2002 GMC Sierra and everything seems to be working fine so far. My question though is how do you shut off the RAP system when the R/S times out or you turn it off with the remote. I have tried doing some search for this and have learned that you have to pulse the door pin for it to shut off. So can this be done by simply connecting the rearm wire of the clifford to my tan drivers door pin wire? Thanks for all the help guys.

Yes that will work but may also trigger your alarm depending on how they wired the door triggers for it. You could just leave it alone, the RAP will shut itself down after 10 minutes of seeing the radio on....

As far as I know, with DEI systems the door trigger is bypassed automatically when the remote start shuts down and then resets.  Thats the reason why you didn't get a trigger.

Thanks for the help guys. Got another question. I was thinking of using my dome supervision to trigger the Cargo light on my truck instead of the inside dome light. My interior light is Red and with my window tint its real hard to see any light at night as it is...or i might just try to use them in combination with each other. My question is does anyone know what wires I would have to tap and how to set up the relay to trigger the cargo light on the truck?
