Need wiring diagram for 2003 Toyota 4runner limited
Installed Viper 5701 RS and XK05 module
Printed wiring diagramm for 04 runner, found on this site, but there are some discrepancies, especially at body ECU
Description says: BECU has 3 plugs on the right side, mine has two plugs on the left of fuses and one plug to the right of fuses, which I think belongs to BECU. All three are similar - with black plastic release lever.
Wire colours are also different from description.
I'll appreciate if somebody uploads photos of BECU (or will senr to email (a137bc#gmail.com)?
Made all main connections, car locks/unlocks, remote starts for 15 second (because of missing tach).
Can not find so still need colours, placement and pin numbers of:
tachymeter signal
parking lights to flash both left and right
rear hatch glass open
door sense trigger
Dome light
Rear defogger
Hood pin wire
Last two questions:
How to connect heated seats - with relay or without, latch or pulse?
Do I need to connect second ignition?

The plugs they refer to are on the actual side of the BECU, facing the steering column(not the front). The door trigger is in the top plug, purple / YELLOW. This will cover all 5 doors with no delay. I find it easy to get the tach on a coil, always the third wire in. I get parking lights on a taped up plug above the BECU, where the empty switch spots are located. Use the green wire on any plug there. Rear glass is tricky as it needs to see the ignition on to work with a negative pulse on the back of the switch. You can either use two relays(one for negative at the glass swtich and one to kick the ignition on) or go to the back glass motor itself(which still regiures a relay). I find it easier to do it up front myself.

The heated seats will depend on how the factory switches operate...you'll have to meter them for polarity and current draw. Relay will be necessary if the switches are positive switched or don't control a factory relay.
I've never looked at 4Runner heated seat switches but if they are 3-way rocker switches like many other cars, they'll be latched connections.
Ignition 2 must be connected.

Thanks a lot
Seat heater switches are rotaring wheels with permanent On switch and 4 resistance values, each switch operates Heater Relay, which is a kind of logic relay, some componenets inside.
Ignition 2 and Accessory - are these both the different names of the same signal. Is it OK just connecting Acessory only?

If you're worried about using every wire from the remote starter, you don't have to be. Your concern with the ignition harness should be making sure that all the ignition switch wires on the vehicle are receiving power during remote start(although you can possibly ignore one of the wires marked "Accessory" on a Toyota b/c that generally only supplies power to the radio/clock/power windows).
As far as the seat heater switches, that's kind of a tough one. It'd be hard to duplicate the multiple levels of heat, but you could pretty easily use an auxiliary channel to activate them at:
A. Whatever level the knob has been left at.
B. Any single setting.

Thanks, I got your idea, for winter remote starts only one setting -the highest heater level will be OK. I will check with schematics.
I did it at last, found parking lights, tach, door sense, hood pin, connected second ignition. Second ignition does AC/heater, power windows etc. ACC does radio.
Although set Viper to virtual tach, tach learning procedure was required.
D2D cable provides power, ground and status from Viper to XK05 module.
Did a mistake (I think) connected light GREEN/ black OEM disarm wire to key sense at ignition switch without a relay, it worked all day long, but at the evening began trigger factory alarm. Connected it via relay, but the pulse became too short for disarm, had to use constant (not pulsed) Blue RS status -)instead - worked.
Have two isuues unsolved.
How to defeat AUTO headlamps during remote start? Like this feature, but don't want headlights ON in the evening and night remote starts. Can it be controlled via GWA wire? Which wire in the car?
Dome light doesn't go down immediatedly after Key takeover (putting key in Ignition position) after car remote started. Has 4 runner dome supervision wire?

i have this same problem, only the auto lights will not turn off after using the remote start! any other time auto lights work as designed. i told her to make sure the auto lights are off or she would have to manually turn them off until we get it figured out.

anybody got any ideas on this?

Do a search here on Toyota lights and you will find there are a few different ways to fix this. If it is a RS with no alarm all you need to do is pulse the drivers door wire after the RS shuts off. This makes the truck think the door opend and closed and will start the timer for the auto lights. If the RS is an alarm too, you need to add a relay and interrupt the auto light wire at the switch whenever the RS is used.
