Guys,

I put in a facotry head unit, with the data II bus relay...it has some weird problems...the radio has power, i can push the eject button and it will run.  The head unit doen't light up though unless i actually connect the red accessory wire to the yellow.  this is even after i have wired it to the bus relay.   When i plug in the data bus it dings 4 times then quits.  I suspect my red accessory wire, anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like your ingition wire and memory wire are switched around and you said it doesn't light up. On the radios harness it should be a illumation wire that the reason why it isn't lighting up. Post the radio and the car so we all can properly help you

I actually fixed the problem...found out that the wiring diragrah instructions were the wrong ones, A wire that claimed to have been not in use was actually the ACC wire into the module, ocne i connected that the radio works correctly.  But i appreciate the help!
