I am also looking some help locating where to hook up the Vss wire on a new body style 2007 Silverado. I bought a used 2008 nav system out of a tahoe. It came with all the parts, GPS antenna, and VSS brown plug. My truck only has two of the four connectors for the rear of the unit. Is the 2nd one from the drivers side for the rear entertainment system? I do not have rear entertainment so should I only have 3 connectors other than the FM antenna and GPS antenna? The brown plug with the VSS wire has a external video input and a green wire (VSS) and a twisted pair of red and black. I guess I need to know what to do with the Red and Black wire although I assume they are power for a video camera. I do not have a back up camera either. I was told the green is the VSS. Does anyone know this info for sure?

If there isn't a GREEN / WHITE behind the radio the easiest place to get it is on the back of the junction box. It is located under the dash on the firewall just left of the column. Pull it out and flip it over, the center connector has a GREEN / WHITE...
