First of all, let me say what a great website this is. I have been reading non-stop since last night when I found this website. I have been taking in a lot of information, and I plan on putting it to good use. I will be installing a Alpine MRP-M500 amp, and a single 12" 4ohm Alpine Type R. The amp will give out 500rms @ 2ohms, so I will wire the sub in parallel. This will be my first time ever installing anything in a car and was wondering if this is a good combo.
Is this a good combo? Will this be a strain on my '08 Xterra's electrical system?
Thanks for all of your help, I really appreciate it.
