Hey guys,

A little information needed on a 09 corolla.

As I was working on this car, I noticed that things are going fairly smooth. I located all my wires, tested them....all good.

I took my time considering this is a 2009. I was wiring the up the trunk release wire on a relay(reverse pol) and I was going to use the brown thick wire(12volts const)  located in the same plug as the trunk release wire. I must touch ground to the brown wire and I heard what sounded like a fuse pop. But I can not find the fuse for the life of me. I started the car and everything seems fine. Can anyone point me in the right direction? PIC INCLUDED

and for the clutch bypass on this car.....Do I run the starter wire straight to the clutch? and is the color LT GREEN at the clutch?

Does the brown wire still have 12 volts?

no...no more 12 volts. any ideas?

One thing about Toyota, any fuse can control anything, reguardless of wht the book says it's for. Are you checking both fuse boxes and every fuse in both?

My guess is that the brown wire in that kick will be fed by the fuse panel under the hood.  Like the others said, check ALL fuses in both the interior fuse panel and under the hood.

use your ground when running or status for the clutch, please make sure you are using a manual transmission-safe system.

It says to connect the starter output stright to the clutch...no need for ground when running.

Well I just checked the car again. There are fuses under the hood (which are fine) inside the car driver kick panel ( which are fine) and there is another place.....above the fuse panel there are fuseable links which you can not see until you remove the coin tray which is located above the OBD and hood release. It was a 30 amp.

and the wire for the clutch bypass is GREEN and you can connect your starter wire straight to it.
