I got to thinking that I would like some blue LEDs on my interior.
I have a TON of ultra bright LEDs, but how would i go about mounting them in my dome light, and in the light sockets for the "feet lights" ??

so if I replace for instance the fog light from the stock 9006 to the 9006XV, do I need to do anything to the power supply or the socket?, these are not the "mostest" bright and high power, but they are halogen

Honsetly if you found the replacement bulb and its oem fit then your shouldnt have to modify the bulb housing but I could be wrong . When I converted mine they were direct oem fit and the looked the same except the were leds. If I'm wrong someone chime in.

Wow, that links is cool.
Anyway i did some looking, and couldnt find any LED replacements for my vehicle (Maybe im still wrong) so for my dome light, i soldered on 8 LEDs to a small PCB, added 2 12ohm resistors, and took the metal caps off the OEM bulb and soldered those onto the back of the PCB.
Now my dome light is a beautiful blue using a custom light that i made myself.
Ill take some pics later on.
This just snaps into place and is actually very bright, blue and still allows you to see stuff clearly.
