03 sierra 2500 hd remote start?

i have a 2003 gmc sierra 2500HD automatic and i just got a ultra start u1250a remote start i was wondering if anyone had sort of tips or wiring diagram to help me out or if i need any other pieces or parts or even if this remote start will even work with my truck haha if any of you guys know of one that will work/ install easier let me know. thanks

im installing a 1250, the problem i ran into was the tach make sure its a proper tach signal. In regards to a bypass you need a passlock 2 bypass, i recommend a 555l from dei also dont forget to hook up the primary ignition and the secondary ignitionits all about the confidence

Just a dumb question, just because I am curious. Where are you guys finding 1250's ? They were replaced by the 1260's 2 years ago. Now the 1260's are being slowly replaced with the 1270xr-Pro's. Now don't get me wrong the 1250 models are easy to install and rock solid starters. I am just wondering if there is a stockpile of the old models out there someware.....Brent Haugen
