Just had a Viper 5701 remote start/security system installed. The manual says to just hit the remote start button once to start it. This doesn't work. SOMETIMES hitting it twice within 3 seconds will start it and hitting it 3 times within 3 seconds always starts it. Why and does anyone know how I can fix it?

Did you call and ask them where you had it installed?

dtk1 was right, I set the activation pulse to 1 for the remote start and now I'm good
