I know on some of the toyota's and lexus's directechs says you can extend the wires to the factory arm and disarm and it will roll windows up and down, has anyone done this and if installing a viper alarm what wires are used to do this....

you  can use an extra channel and or comfort closure on the lock wire.  All are triggered by the factory arm and factory disarm wire.

try putting the key in the driver's door lock cylinder and turning to the lock position (with windows down) and hold it for a few seconds, OR insert key, turn to lock, release, turn again and hold. If the vehicle has the feature, then you can program an aux to latch, or enable comfort closure.

We have been using this technique over here for about 15 years, BMW, Jaguar, Vauxhall/Opel, VW Porsche Audi all work on a similar principle, one wire, sometimes (E36 BMW) with a relay and diodes to achieve deadlocking, either older variations of the alarm using a timed aux output or newer alarm models set to total (comfort) close. One or 2 flaws, older mid-90's BMW, check it first via hurleyloser's suggestion, the mech and processor can fail, also this is a much safer method than fitting 530ts modern cars tend to put the processor inside the motor housing and it is ALWAYS a nightmare to get at, remove motor and achieve this, I've been there.
