Here is where YOU are confused.  You CAN NOT, that is NOT, put the valet to ON.  It's IMPOSSIBLE.  so WHAT do you mean by puting the valet switch to "on" ????

Mugpar you had some intelligent replies, please read them and apply what you learn the VALET SWITCH IS A ROUND BLACK PUSH TO MAKE MOMENTARY SWITCH. It's sole function is as an override or programming switch. It is not a flick push to make switch. Go to a specialist installer and have them do it for you.

ok, i know the difference between the two, thanks for all the help, and smart *** replies. Just trying to reprogram my remote, and I am telling you that when i open the door, turn the ign to the on position and push the black button and hold it on the second, the horn does not honk, which is hooked up, and the led does not come on

I meant the neutral safety switch, sorry for the confusion.
