Hey all, i picked up a 1998 Audi A4 1.9TDi SE and the previous owner hacked the wiring harness for the standard cd player for his own needs.
Can anyone hook me up with the color codes relevant to each pin on the harness.
Many Thanks
Gibbs/Joe

i had an arfter market DVD player in it which would only play to the front speakers but now it wont turn on.
at 1st i thought it was the fuses but i have replace them all to no avail.
When i put the key in and turn to the dash panel lights comes on, the dvd player will flash lights on then off but still wont turn on.

Have you tried using a meter to see if there is 12 volts on the red and yellow wires of the DVD player?   If it was working properly at one time, and you did not relocate any of the wires, the red and yellow should be connected to the proper wires.  We just need to figure out which one of those has lost voltage.
