I have an 08 mustang coupe with a standard stock radio. I installed a Pioneer FH-800BT head unit but it won't power up when I turn on the car?

The color of the wires are different from the wiring harness that I have. Like the 12v battery wire is yellow on the wiring harness but it's red w/white stripe on the car and the ground wire is black but it's black w/red stripe? Anyone worked on this car before?

hi,

a number of '08 ford models do not have an accessory power lead at the radio. it is turned on via data bus. in the right kick panel there is a fusebox where you can find an switched (accessory) power lead.
