Im doing a 06 cadillac cts with pk3+ im using a 4100 and a 1700g I spoke to dei tech before I started he told me i would not need a 556u just use the pink and pink black from the 1700g to the orange of the pks module cut it and follow the instruction when I went to program the 1700g the car shut right down  and now it is locked out.  So i called back and spoke to a different guy and he said not to cut that orange wire that i should not cut any wire from the pk3 module, but the damage is done,  the new guy said to turn the key on hold it in the crank position for 2 seconds and then let in fall back into the on position and wait that didnt work so HOW do I unlock this car any help would be greatly appricated

sorry it took so long this is what I did I disconected the battery then re conected it , that first time you try to start the car after the reconnect it does not crank so hold the key in the crank postiton for 3 seconds then let it go into the on position for 20-30 mins and the car should not be lock out this is actually what I did and it work it took a couple trys but it does work.
