So I'm getting a new amp to drive my Alpine SWR-1042D. I'd like an amp that has the capability to drive two of these or one of them (near 1-1200x1 at 1 ohm, 5-600x1 at 2 ohms; or 2x5-600 at 2 ohms). Even something like 800wx1 at 2 ohms.
Now here's the tricky part...the budget is $250-300. I found a JL T1000.1 for $250 brand new, and I can get the Cadence ZRS-3002 is around $300. Any other brands or models that I should take a look at or other suggestions in general??

I looked closer at that JL, and it's actually a TMA made by JL...anyone know anything about this amp or the line in general?? Any other suggestions? There's a guy in town that closed his shop and said he'd work with me on the price for the Cadence, so that's still a viable option.
Again, anyone have any suggestions or advice?
