2007 town and country parking light ohms

Hello all,

I installed an autopage remote start system in my 2007 Chrysler Town & Country and cannot seem to get the parking lights to flash.

I am trying to tap into the wire at the headlight switch (WHITE/ brown) but it does not seem to work.

I was informed of the resistance issue but do not know what ohm resistors I need. Can anyone help me with this problem?

I know this sounds like cheating, but i have never added the relay to isloate the switch. I find it easier to add another size resistor that will equal 2.1 with the switch wire and wire that directly to the alarm. I've done hundreds this way and never a comeback. I find this value by simply trial and error. I have a bag of misc. sized resistors and simply tap them on the wire and ground the other end. If the parking lights come on i know it's the one. If your wrong it won't hurt a thing(tho some values will turn on the headlamps). It usually takes 4 or 5 tries to get it, but much quicker than wiring a relay. I do record the values and wish i had my laptop here to tell you exactly what you need...

Who said cheaters never win......sounds like a good idea!  Haven't done any town and country's.......ever, i think, but if i do get the chance to work on one, I'll give it a shot if it doesn't have the automatic lights.  Good info...
