I believe this is the sub you have http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-EkgsUlyZXfG/ProdView.asp?i=113W3003&s=0  I would suggest you go with a sealed enclosure with a volume of 1.5 cu/ft. Now you said that you wanted to add neon lights. Do you want them to be inside the enclosure and add a Plexiglas window? Or do you plan on putting the lights outside the box in the boot?

I did my science fair on the resultant sound pressure level of sealed, ported, and bandpass enclosures.  I had them all built and I began testing the sub (MTX 6000) in the bandpass.  I wasn't use to the way bandpass enclosures muffle any distortion or overpowering, so I blew the sub.  So, all the enclosures went to waste since I had to use a different sub.

well then just build a sealed enclosure with a volume of 1.5 cu/ft. you can use the 12volts volume calculator to figure out the dimensions of your enclosure https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#rec As far as bridging the sub goes don’t know the specs on your amp. But the sub is 4 ohms so you should not have a problem bridging it and you should wire it in parallel. If you have any more questions just post them
