Hello everybody.
Back in the day I had a 1990 Cadillac Seville with an old 2 button GREEN/ black alpine alarm.
You hear that classic chirp all the time, in music, TV, radio....
I dont believe the SEC models (blue button remotes) have that tone. But maybe they do.
Does anyone know how I can get that classic chirp sound? Im dying to hear that sound again. If anyone has a sound clip please post it of your ride with that alpine tone.
Do I need the classic Alpine Siren to complete my quest for vintage sound in my life?
I have a 2wss compustar and would like to replace the siren if thats what I need to do.
If anyone has an alpine siren for sale please let me know.

You are correct in assuming that the siren is responsible for the sound you are looking for. The alarm module puts out 12 volts DC to the siren, it sends out one or 2 pulses depending on arm or disarm notification.
