I just bought a malibu about 2 months ago, and when got my Deck installed I noticed a little opening behind the radio, heat, and under the dash. Right in the middle of the car.
I was wondering if it is possible to put my speakers that I bought for my old car there? I am only asking because after buying the speakers and I then totaled the car 4 months after, and would hate to see the money spent being a waste. The speakers are Polk Audio DB650 6.5's

the 6.5's will fit in the doors.  I know they come stock with 4x6's but i had no issue putting 6.5's in mine.  I have the exact same car.  Might have to trim the plastic in the door just a hair, but I don't remember having to when I did mine.
