Hi,

I'm trying to instal a Nokia Cark91 kit in a BMW E46 Cabriolet 2001 model.

As it has a Built in BMW stereo I am not familiar with the wiring. Could someone tell me the wire colours for the following:-

+12v permanent

+12v ignition switched

Ground

Radio Mute

Hey,

Thanks, that's a great help. I don't suppose you know what wire would mute the BMW stereo?

Also is that info from a site that is freely accessible as it seem very useful if you can search for different models, looks really good. bmw e46 cabriolet radio wires -- posted image.

Yes you can sign up for a free account. You will need the name of an install shop though. (not sure if they check it out or not but you do have to put one down. Not sure on the Mute wire.
