There are several different ways to face your subs, and I for one have always faced my subs twords the back of my trunk or hatch. But I have a dinamat flyer saying that twords the cab of the vehicle or the top of the deck lid is better for sound and louder bass.  So what is it?

Tell me about your setup and how you like to face your speakers.

depends on the vehicle so easiest way is move it or meter it at a shop til its in the sweet spot. most common is rear or up in street cars

Mine face up towards the trunk lid. I've tried every possible position and this is by far sounds the best.

I believe that this mounting in different directions, is more which direction or mounting position will give your subs the most, or best amount of air space (between your subwoofer and trunk wall)
The idea behind the dynamat flier is the best way to mount, while keeping your trunk from shaking

I have my subs facing up in my trunk of my 07 Mustang. They sound the best this way, plus it reduced some of the rattle of my spoiler and trunk and bumper by not having it facing back towards the trunk. Just try moving the subs in different directions and see what sounds best.
