I'm doing an install on my  2003 Honda s2000,

Is the trunk release button on in the cabin a trigger for the relay or the actual motor circuit.

Can I test this with DMM for amperage on the button wires to check?

Can I directly connect the trunk output from the alarm to the button wires if it's just a relay trigger?

DIY guy, can't learn if you never try

it is a BLACK / YELLOW wire at the keyless module behind the drivers kick panel. dont pick up the wire at the button. its a positive trigger, and, yes you need a relay.
