putting nav in f150 and i do not have any idea where to find the vss other that the speedometer it self if anyone can throw me some ideas where it might be located that would be dope. let me know

I have no idea where the PCM is located in that truck but it has a 104 pin plug connected to it. If you find that module, the following will help you.

Battery	YELLOW	(+)	IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 1	DRK.BLUE/LIGHT GREEN	(+)	AND BLU/GRN AT IGN SWITCH HARNESS

Anti-Theft Type	UNDER DASH PAD
Anti-Theft Descript	PATS
Key Sense	BLACK/ PINK	(+)	STEERING COLUMN HARNESS
Neutral Safety	RED / LIGHT BLUE	(+)	IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Tachometer	LIGHT GREEN / WHITE	(-)	AT PCM PIN 26 OF 104 CONN.
Crankshaft Sensor	GRAY	(+)	PIN 26 OF 104 CONN. AT PCM
Camshaft Sensor	DARK GREEN	(+)	PIN 22 OF 104 CONN. AT PCM
Speed Sense	GRAY/BLACK	(AC)	PIN 68 OR 58 AT PCM
Parking Lights	BROWN	(+)	AT HEAD LIGHT SWITCH
Brake Lights	LIGHT GREEN	(+)	AT BRAKE SWITCH

does your stock radio have two plugs?

if so it's grey/black at the second plug.
