im installing an xk01 interface module on an 02 trailblazer but as soon as i plug in the harness the led turns on solid and what ever i do i can not get it to reprogram or evertry to flash, it even stays on solid when i start the vehicle. the sticker that was put on it before it was sent to me says it is programed for the amdl

are you connected to the correct data wire?

yes im sure im connected to the correct data wire its the only purple one in pin 2

K, thats it. is it connected to the correct wire on the XK01? i saw a guy once that couldnt get his to work for the longest time, then he realized he had the data connected to the door pin wire and door pin wire on the XK01 connected to the data. im just throwing stuff out there, it sounds like if its not that, maybe its a bad unit. ???

I think your not supposed to have that data wire solderd in until after programing and the status wire gets connected after programing.
Are you sure you have the right firmware?

i think the problem is in the xk module so im gonna get another from my dealer so ill update in a few days

Test the following on the XK01. Test AT the harness that plugs into the module, so you're verifying that your connections are solid too:
red has constant 12 volts
black has constant ground
brown has NOTHING (should only get ground when the remote starter is turned on)
If those three test correct, and your purple is hooked up to the purple at the OBDII, the module must be either bad, or flashed incorrectly.
