the issue is that the DEI led's obviously do not get a 12volt feed, and the alarm output isnt 12volts, but the 4 led's i put in the front are fed 12v and all of the diodes are already installed in the front of the car..... basically is there any way I can simply switch between them for temporary use? The front LED's are fed 12v directly and grounded to chassis, but will they even light with the limited voltage of the dei led output? If they will light, will there be any issues with the led's grounding to chassis instead of back to the LED ground input?I think they will light up with the limited voltage from the output, but the ground im really not sure of.. would I need to run another ground from the front led's and switch this so it would connect to the dei LED ground?I really think that im overthinking this, but I would hate to fry anything. Thanks much!
