There is NO white wire, period.  Big, little....don't matter.  Their ain't one!!  05 silverado wire color problem - Page 2 -- posted image.

Mark Mizenko:  thats what I was wondering.  The yellow to it even matches the yellow start wire....thats what threw me for a loop.  Tested em out and instantly knew which was starter..but the other got me with the no white one deal.

NOW (HAHA)....can anyone else answer the other question I posed:

On the other issue of the door trigger...on the GM-SL, it has a White wire marked:

(-) OUTPUT (door trigger)

I am assuming this means, OUTPUT from the module for the door trigger wire on the RS unit, correct??  If so, I should be able to connect this to the (-) door trigger wire on the RS unit.....

Thanks ya'll again for the help!!!

I'm not familiar with that module but the door trigger output is just that. Connect this to the door trigger input of your alarm and you should be fine. Most modules will only show this after the Passlock has armed so you may have to wait for the factory security light to go out before testing the trigger. As for the "yellow" wire, it may be possiblle the insulation has aged rapidly and it was meant to be white. If it tests as igntition and runs with the other switch wires to the back of the fuse box, you are safe to call it the correct wire....

I second Mike.  The '05 I did last week looked yellow!  But from doing so many, I just treated as the 2Ign.  I think I checked it first though still, but didnt put much though into it.  And that is the door trigger output TO the alarm.
