2008 dodge caliber rear defrost activation

Where do I tap in to activate rear window defrost from aux. output of my remote star unit?   &  Is the activation + or -.

When you press the switch, does it latch in?   Does your remote start unit have provisions for a latched output?  Do you have access to a volt meter?

Most of the Chryslers where I've attempted rear defogger connection have had a multiplexed defogger control done via the control panel and the BCM - the easiest way to control it via remote start is by tapping the control terminal of the relay.

My remote start ia an audiovox  aps687a with a channel 4 latched output.  I do have a volt meter.
