Hello,

I want to put a new HU in a 2000 Ford Winstar.  I have done several installs but I need to know how to take the dash apart for this particular vehicle.  If anyone has any tips or advice that would be great.

Thanks

Chris

You shouldn't need to take anything apart on that one.  It should have a pair of small holes on the left and right side of the radio face.  You'll need Ford radio removal keys, pretty cheap at an auto parts store, or find a friendly stereo shop to pop it out for you, it takes all of 3 seconds.

Just don't bend a coat hanger or something and shove it in there, if you mess up those little clips, you will end up having to pull the dash apart.

Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while; you could miss it.
