anyone know why there are 2 wiring harnesses on the 2003 mitsubishi eclips Spyder? it has the infiniti system.   i got the one wiring harness nad it fits, but then there is also a smaller wiring harness as well

any suggestions????

take out the passengers side seat, you will see the infinity amp with two plugs or one i cant remember, anyhow find your speaker wires and run them up to the dash. basic amp bypass....

You will find The head unit with one plug to the display pod and a second plug (DIN) that goes to the AMP.  The amp has a DIN as well as a plug for the speakers, power, etc.

Beware that the front tweeters, mids and rear full range have their own channel on the amp.  The center channel is a summed mono from the tweeter output.  The tweeters use small passive crossovers to rid of mids.

Also, after testing, I would rate the speakers at 2 ohms.  Therefore, replace the speakers with aftermarket and you will loose volume.  Replace amp and you need 2 ohm stable with 6 channels and/or crossovers.
