Anyone here sucessfully install a Key-Override-All/PKALL in a new push button start Lexus?? Specifically a GS350? I tried to no avail today...I have done a 2008 IS250 push button and many Toyota push buttons with no problems...mfg says it will work...too late to call tech support.

I did one recently & used a Fortin Key-Override-All & it worked perfectly. I used an APS-57n. I was very careful & it took some time, but it really wasn't that hard. The next one will go much smoother. The only issue I had was that I couldn't get the unlock to work with a double pulse. So the customer has to hit unlock once to unlock drivers door & hit unlock again to unlock the other 3 other doors. I don't know why that didn't work. I think the 2 pulses are too quick. Anyways the customer doesn't mind & actually prefers it that way.

Good Enough Isn't!

Mr_Fusion,
What install type did you use? If you tried to do it the same way you did the 2008, it definitely won't work. The new cars have an 80-bit transponder instead of 40-bit.
Your two choices are:
1. Go to ifar.ca and look up the correct installation procedure. Many wires to hook up, some of them in awkward locations. But should work well when done.
2. Use an ADS (idatalink) bypass. Super easy install, but car will shut down when customer opens door, and need to be restarted. They tried to find a way to do takeover and leave the car running but couldn't.
P.S. I haven't personally done an 80-bit Toyota. What you see above is what I've learned online.

Do what Chris said and also make sure the module is updated to v.4.0 or higher or it won't work. The ads solution is great but won't work on a GS or IS ........Yet!
