The hood pin is fine. I did a test on it and it is good. I don't have an aftermarket siren. When I had the alarm installed, I told my installer to attach the siren leads to the truck horn, just like the factory setup. I guess, I have some wire probing ahead of me. Just one other thought, you don't think it could be a bad pass-key module?
