2005 lancer, hid kit

hello all i have a 2005 lancer, i want to put the hid kits in it. but my car has DRLs how do bypass that or how to use relays to make it all work?

If you order the correct kit..xenon bulbs and ballasts..the hid harness plugs right into your factory headlight harness. Your DRLs should turn off automatically when you turn on your headlights. You might want to look into HID white bulbs for your DRLs. That would look nice.

well the drl work from the low beam. and on the 05 lancer i cannot disable them. when in the drl mode the light flicker,since it does not put out out a constant 12 volts.   i was told i can put a capacitor inline can someone tell me if that will work and how do i do that?

the capacitor inline is bull. just use the negative trigger from the drl line to a relay. that way the hid wont stay on.
