A couple things, make sure you have the right tach is hooked up good and that you didn't ground it. Have seen that happen before.

Is the car throwing any codes?  Does it start right up or does it take a while to actually start running?

the tach is connected to the can-sl2 module, but it never was programed through the remote start because it won't run long enough. The murano starts right up everytime but sputters and dies within a few seconds.

That has happened to one of the guys at my shop, but his didn't happen for 3-4 days after the RS install.  So we ended up paying an $80 dealer bill and learning a lesson.  Apparently those Muranos are very sensitive when it comes to that intake.  The one we had problems with wasn't totally disconnected, the guy said he looked at it and didn't see anything wrong with it, but according to the dealer, it was loose.
Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while; you could miss it.
