I know that the 571 is just a RS/Keyless. However i installed one last night and when i was programming with the bitwriter i noticed that it had an option that said "enable security features". i was wondering if anyone had any experience with this unit in trying to get it to work with triggers or sensors with this feature enabled. i know that it will page when the hood pin is closed if you attempt to remote start or even if you just arm the system.

just a though because the customer would be very happy with at least door pins.

Door pins won't work. "Security Features" means the starter kill will activate when you lock the doors. If someone tries to start it after the system is "Locked" then the car won't start and the horn will start honking (assuming you hooked it up). You can not hook up any sensors, the brain will ignore them.
