I have the following sub box I got at Circuit City..
MTX JackHammer Dual 12" Subwoofers in Vented Enclosure
Model #: MTX   JH5512X2D
The are 800watt a piece max for a total of 1600watt. I run them with a MTX TA4501 Class D Amp. 1500 watt
This works for me..but I would go with either a MTX Jackhammer Amo or elite series amp next time.

Are you asking about the actual "JACKHAMMER" sub or the Jackhammer Series of their more conventional sized speakers? If you are asking about the actual Jackhammer, I don't think you have enough room in a camaro. Even if you wall it off I still think there will be issues. As for the Jackhammer Series of woofers, there is nothing special about them.

Jackhammer is a joke...this has been discussed many times before. All the weight of the subwoofer is in the cast aluminum frame..the actual motor structure is around 50lbs big whoop. There are 10 inch subs that weigh more than the Jackhammer when comparing motors and not a bunch of aluminum to make the sub SEEM bigger than it actually is.

i really hope your talking about one of the jackhammer subs in the "series" and not the actually JACKHAMMER. as stated you dont have the amount of space or structure for the sub to find a home in that car. and as stated its a big pile. do some smaller woofers and you will do much better at shows and im sure it will sound much better

They shoulda called 'em the "Jokehammer". LOL. Yes, the big one, too. In fact, that one FIRST. Bigger is rarely better, and this woofer is absolutely no exception.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
