I have a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. The Alarm i have installed in it is a carbine with remote start. I got the alarm hooked up but i need to know what module i need so it will start with the remote start..i pulled the alarm out of my expedition 2004 i thought it would use the same module 56u but it doesn't work. please let me know.

Easy stuff first:
I'm assuming you meant a 556U is the module you're trying to use.
First, did you take the Expedition's key out of the 556U and put one of the Mountaineer's in it?
Second, how do you have the 556U installed? It is a universal bypass module and should work with any vehicle that has transponder keys.
