Directed Tech Tip 1041

   I'm wondering what tech tip 1041 meens I'm assuming I have to Diode isolate each door lock wire between the alarm brain and the relays I wired for the keyless!!! The system is a Clifford Matrix 50.5x, it is Installed in my moms 2000 honda odyssey, the remote start works fine but the keyless and alarm are none responsive!! The door trigger wire according to my master sheet is BLACK/ White at the domelight switch but when tested only seems to cover the drivers door, I tested all wires at the switch and none seem to be correct!!! I've done alot of DEI systems in the past and this is the first one I've had problems with I can usually figure them out!! But I would like to know what tech tip 1041 says because I don't want to fry the brain if DEI has something weird going on with these newer systems!!! This is a christmas present to my mom so any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you!!!

no you dont need to isolate nothing on this van, the trigger is on the switch by the radio black /white. tech document 1041 is concerning the door locks , but for this you dont need to do none of this. there is only tech 1085 for the sliding door.installers do it best. we got the magic hands!

It's not 1041, the o ne you are referring to is the infamous 1076, usually only required on US band Euro's with sleeper circuits, no Japanese vehicle needs it as far as I know.

O.K. I hit the door trigger at the switch!!! Can I hit the doorlock wires without using relays or not also the alarm section of the system is unresponsive the red LED stays on constant and the siren doesn't chirp when you hit the lock and unlock buttons on the remote!!! I know on previus systems the remote came preprogramed do I need to program the remote?? I grounded everything in the drivers kick panel to a hood release bracket bolt threaded in to the kick panel and tightened securely!!! everything is being powered by the white constant hot wire in the ignition harness all my conections are soldered I don't trust crimp connectors!!! Again any info on this will be greatly appreaciated Thank you!!!

First, no relays ned for locks just connect them. Second, the alarm is in valet mode making the light stay on.Mike M2
