Wraps around the barrel? I thought the INT - SL did that through the datalink. i dont think the red LED is flashing when it tries to rs, it does blink with the door locks. also, I had 180 ohm resistor, and wired it to ground, and then checked the resistance, and I got about 176 ohm's. If I start the van with the key, and then push the start button to enter idle mode, the van will stay running when i remove the key.
