Does anyone have the wiring for a 2008 Kia Sedona? I am installing an Audiovox Prestige APS-57a remote start only.

Is it the same as 2007? If someone has DirectWire info, that would be great. I always found it to be the most reliable.

Thanks.

use the 07 , but test all your wires 1st
you could install without a diagram on a start only
Just test all the ign wires and mimic what they do

Well, customer told me it was 2008 Kia Sedona. It was a really a 2007. I installed the remote start & everything went smooth, but in the end lock & unlock only works w/engine not running. With engine running I can unlock drivers door only & can't lock anything. I used the orange wire @ drivers door power window switch for "factory alarm arm" & "lock". I used the red wire @ drivers power window switch for "factory alarm disarm"  & "unlock" (for every door except drivers door).

I installed a relay & did a 5-wire on pink wire @ drivers power window switch, for drivers door unlock. I used 2 diodes to isolate the negative trigger from Audiovox prestige APS-57a unlock wire.

What did I do wrong?

You're using the R/S remotes to operate the locks?
Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

I never got the joy (or pain) of having to figure out the locks in that van.
All I know is that some of my co-workers have had to, and it's been difficult. I'm sorry to say, but I've seen at least a couple of these vans on the road with the locks not working right.........either they get only the driver's door, or only the passengers' doors.
I'll try to ask my co-workers if any of them remember how to do it, and get back to you.
But to tell you the truth, we only did that in the beginning when there were no modules available. I think you would have saved a lot of time just to use a doorlock module for that car.

Well yes, I'd like to do that, since factory remotes don't work w/engine running. I'm not doing the 2 side doors or the rear hatch-only lock & unlock on doors on my remote, so you can lock & unlock with engine running.

Thanks Chris, I appreciate the help.

I couldn't figure it out yesterday. I will try again today. It would be great if you can find out something from your co-workers that did one.

There must be a way to do it without a module.

There is mention of having to interupt the blue ignition wire in DKP. Is that only for side doors & rear hatch? Because I didn't interrupt that wire.
