I checked my old DEI sheets and there is no mention of a defrost wire.

I also checked the FMC Dealer site and they do not show a defrost connection on their Ford Gold Installation Diagram.

Audiovox the same. No info.

just find the relay and tie into the wire that triggers the relay using a "latched pulse". the switch wont indicate its on, but hey.....like your gonna go outside every morning to see if the little LED in the switch is lit up anyway. youll know you have it right when test the remote start and you pulse the wire that goes to the relay for the rear defroster and you feel it click on.

the trigger wire for the defrost relay is inside the SJB   i guess my only option is to run a wire from the battery into the truck to a relay and just bypass the factory relay and go straight to the output    i hate addimitt customers    (my old car had it   i have to have it in my new one)

Theres a BIG FAT BROWN / yellow, in the drivers kick. Wire it up with a relay for rev. polarity!
