Installing a ProStart 3471tw into a 97 saturn. Have the vehicle starting but the factory alarm is still going off and preventing as it is passive arming. I have tried following the diagram below but am still having no luck.

Can someone please give me a hint as to what I am missing or if they have a different way of doing it that would be great. Thanks

Also looking for the door unlock and lock wires have read the wiring list on the12volt but can't seem to find them in the drivers kick panel.

When does the factory alarm trigger? When Ign first comes on or when car cranks. The diagram you supplied should work.

Lock/unlock wires are light blue & white (+ pulse) and are coming out of the drivers door into the car. Don't remember them being real easy access.

The alarm hits before the car even cranks. As soon as it powers up and then goes to crank the horn starts going.

Ended up getting the lock and unlock at the security module as well was easier than the doors and the trunk was there anyway.

Have you tried removing your ground signal from the relay and grounding it manually, then try to start the vehicle?
Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

I'm with loneranger, sounds like the relay is not opening (87a & 30) the pink wire on the security mod in the car.

What we ended up doing last night just to get it working was cut the pink ignition wire and put the yellow black to a ground. I removed the relays and diodes and doing it this way allows the car to start with the factory alarm being on still so that part works. However when we unlock the car to get in the horn starts going I'm guessing because of the passive activation. She's dealing with that by just keeping the second remote on the keychain and hitting unlock.
