Hey everyone,
I'm looking at getting a 2300b GSFK Alarm LCD Remote Start Security System off of ebay. I have heard the 9000 foot range is bs... but at the same time I have heard quite a few good things for a $130 dollar system.
I was wondering what everyone has to say about it... what you'd suggest, and any problems you've had.... and i have one big question i cant find anywhere: DOES this system have a "warn away" feature? I think that its almost a must, because I would like to know if there was an actual break in, or just someone leaning up against my truck... haha.
Thanks in advance and please help me out!

Does the fact that you get no info not tell you something?  Also buy off flea bay, say goodbye to warrantee and back-up.

Yeah but I've also saved thousands off "flea bay" on the add-ons to my truck.
Anyone have any help with this system?

It would still be an ill advised purchase. If you were looking into a name brand product(made by a company that has offices and warehouses in the U.S.) that would be a different story. I've bought many such products on eBay with pretty good results.
What you'll almost certainly get for that $130 is a system which includes cheap LCD screen remotes which get cracked after a few months in your pocket, an inferior shock sensor, an install manual which borders on incomprehensible, and a remote start with too few inputs and outputs to match an average ignition switch, as well as a "tach/voltage/oil pressure" input wire for remote start which they claim can be connected to any, but in practice it will only be one and you won't know which until you actually try to remote start.
I've installed the above on a few occasions, and what $$ was saved on the hardware was lost by the additional time and parts to have something approaching a decent install.
I suspect that the quite a few good things you've heard about this system are from people who don't know there are better products, or realize they bought junk and are trying to save face.
