I installed a remote start in a 2006 GMC Sierra and it starts and runs just fine everything including the door locks seem to work. On the other hand, the Battery indicator stays on when remote started. It does go out when the key is turned on. Is this a problem or should u just ignore it.

I do not have an answer (yet) but, does the Batt light turn off when the key "turns on" or after you press the brake (shutting down the RMST) with the key already in the on position.

Do not know if it's relevant, which bypass did you use?

Did you connect both the white and the pink ignition wires?

Yes i did connect both of them and the two accessory wires. The pink is connect through the main harness ignition and the other is on programmable relay set to ignition. would it still start if one of them had a blown fuse.

From the two red wires at the ignition harness same place as the pink ignition and the yellow starter wire come from.

While your at it, meter the IGN & the ACC wires for proper timing. I have the same problem with a 2002 Chevy and the BATTERY LIGHT and the ABS light turn on, but only with remote start.
