Hello, about to attempt an install in a 2006 Mazda Tribute. I have done alarm/remote starts before in a former life. Where do you suggest to mount the anti-grind relay? Should I run some leads from under the dash to the starter wires in the ign column? Or try to stuff the relay IN the ignition column?
Should I use 10GA, 12GA etc for the starter?
Thanks

just cut the wire from the ignition harness make sure the starter side and the the starter wire from the R/S connected on 30 on the relay and that the key side of the wire is on 87a and connected up your 86 to 12v and then a ground while running wire off the R/S to 85.
As for where to put relay, where it will be the most out of the way for you location should not really matter as long as the connections are right.
