When you have more than one sub and each sub has the same rms wattage as the amps output and it is either a mono amp or the both subs are wired to one channel, then does it cut the wattage going to each sub in half or is the same amount of power going to each sub at the same time?

For example if I have a mono amp that puts out 600 rms at 1 ohm and I have two 600 watt rms, 4 ohm, dvc subs wired in parallel at 1 ohm. How much power would be going to each sub? Does having the two subs wired together in parallel increase the power that the subs can handle or does it not change anything besides the ohm load?

Sorry for all the questions im fairly new to audio and electronics...

i am an idiot

The amp is X amount of watts into X load. If you achieve the ohm load with one woofer, that woofer is getting all of the power. If you use 2 woofers to achieve that ohm load, the amp is still putting out X watts. So each speaker is getting 1/2 X watts. If it is (a) dual voice coil woofer, each coil is seeing 1/2 x. 2 Dual voice coil woofers, each coil is seeing 1/4 x.
