I'm installing a 552T in a 2003 jeep liberty. I've looked at all the diagrams and think I understand the one wire lock system. Do I need to use relays, the 552T has them onboard. How do I wire it with two negative outputs? thanks

ok...we're talking about the VAlet Deluxe Remote Start and Keyless entry right? I hope so cause thats the only thing I can think of that is 552T...if not, than I'm about to ramble about nothing remotley similar.

OK...now it says you MUST USE RELAYS. Also, as you can see by the diagram..Lock and unlock go through the same wire. Lock is a negative Trigger which must go through a 1.4K Ohm Resistor, and unlock is a negative trigger through a 426 Ohm Resistor.   THIS IS SAID BY DEI...so you can't use just the onboard relays...
Ok I'll take a stab at the relay set-up....but I ain't no relay genius, so I am probably wrong, so clarify this with someone...and if I am wrong...don't jump all over me about it...
take two relays.
relay 1) 85= 12V, 86= negative ( use unlock from the alarm which would be the blue wire on the doorlock harness ) 30= ground, 87=not used, 87a wire out with a 426 Ohm resistor. This is the UNLOCK RELAY.
the Lock relay is the same except 86 will be the Green wire on the harness. and you'll use a 1.4K ohm resistor. This is the lock relay...
I hope that does it...and if no one comments on the reply, Check with a local shops installer, to confirm the relay set-up...Hope I helped...
