My system has been fine for more than a few months, all of a sudden I am getting  what sounds like engine noise from what sounds to be the tweeters, and even when the unit is off, but only when the engine is on.

any idea's?

on your clarion, make SURE all of the loose RCAs behind the radio are caped or taped up. if they touch metal it causes ground noise through the radio. if that doesn't fix it you should add a new ground
