I have recently acquired a van that has a tv and a vcr. I found the fuse it keeps blowing when the tv is turned on. It is running both tv and vcr on a 3 amp fuse. Is this a strong enough fuse or should I go with a bigger amp size? the tv and the vcr are both audiovox. no info on their installation though?? any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

unplug the power to the vcr but not the tv, see if the fuse blows. if not, then unplug the power to the tv and plug the vcr power back in. if they do not blow the fuse when connected to the power alone, but together they do, then you just need a larger fuse. if either one of them blows the fuse when connected separately, that componet is possibly bad and shorted internaly.
