I am working on a 2002 Ford Ranger, and need to find the Rx , and TX wires for the pats immobilizer system.  Right next to the key cylinder is a small box with the work pats on it.  It has a wire wrapped around the key cylinder, and 4 wires running inside a black jacket to a connector by the gas pedal.  I don't have the car here right now, but I remember that 3 of the 4 wires were red, blue, and white.  I think the 4th was green.  There is no connector up at the cylinder, so the info supplied to me with the bypass kit goes out the window.  Can someone confirm that I am looking at the right 4 wires for the pats system, and what colour wire is RX, and what is TX.  Any help would be much appreciated. (the other 2 wires should be ignition, and ground, but i am not too sure if I should be probing.

I am using a pk-all by bypasskit.  I am not too sure if it is pooched, as the programming instructions say hold down the programming button, and plug in the harnesses.  An LED should turn on at this point (which it doesn't)  Then I put key one in the ignition, and turn the igntion on until the security light on the dash goes out, and repeat with key 2.  Then fire up the remote start, and the progamming should be done.  The remote start does work without a key in the ignition on the first try, but if I go to remote start again, the security light comes on, and it won't crank.  I have yet to see an LED turn on on the module....ever!   I just want to see what someone else tells me about rx, tx wires, and if I do have it hooked up properly, I will try a different bypass kit.
