Ok i want to build an iso baric box for 4 12" subs.
The subs require a 1.75 cubic ft box per sub ported with a 3" port 5" long.
So if i build an iso baric box it will be about .85 cubic ft for 2 subs ported.
Wondering what size does my port need to be doing the isobaric box any help would greatly by appericated

Isobaric loading usually requires 1/2 the internal volume for each "woofer" or "clamshell". So 4 woofers isobaric = 1 woofer normal = 1.75 cubes.
I would guess that ports are full sized. The waveform inside of the port should be the same as in a normal box, but I'd make sure to run that by someone with more experience with this loading style.
It's pretty rare to hear someone talk about it anymore. You doing it for a few extra Hz extension, or because you have too many subs in the garage?
